If your Company is looking to establish a charitable solution as part of its' business model, Guernsey is the ideal juritsdiction to create a foundation for charitable purposes.

Foundations are run by a council that has the duty to manage the foundation and its assets in accordance with the terms of the charter and rules. If the foundation is established for charitable purposes then a guardian should be appointed, who owes a duty to the founder to ensure that the council is acting appropriately.

A Foundation established for the charitable purposes can be registered as a charity and can only use the assets in pursuit of charitable objectives.
