Louvre launches charitable Foundation to benefit Guernsey’s community

Louvre Group has established a Foundation to support charitable causes in the Bailiwick of Guernsey. 

Established this year, The Louvre Group Charitable Foundation hopes to provide financial support in the form of grants and charitable initiatives to a wide range of causes based locally.

The Foundation will also provide an umbrella for Louvre Group’s own charitable activities undertaken by staff.  Fundraising events will be an important part of the Foundation’s income, encompassing everything from staff dress-down days to team members completing marathons and other sporting endeavours. 

Derek Baudains, Louvre Group CEO, commented:

“Our organisation has its roots in Guernsey and supporting our community has been an integral part of Louvre's ethos since its inception. The Louvre team has always been inspired by fundraising and giving back to local charities. We are delighted to have brought this together formally with the establishment of the Louvre Foundation which I hope will be a lasting legacy and benefit to Guernsey.”

The charitable Foundation’s administration costs are covered by the Louvre Group, so every penny raised goes straight to the good causes it supports. The Louvre Group Charitable Foundation welcomes applications from charities seeking support.
