Guernsey Goat Parade Postponed
Autism Guernsey’s Goat Parade, in partnership with the Guernsey Adult Literacy Project has been postponed until May next year.
The event was due to take place this summer however as a number of artists were from Guernsey’s Schools, which have been closed during the Covid-19 pandemic, and the number of tourists coming to Guernsey this summer will be significantly reduced the charity has made the decision to postpone the event.
Matthew Gilligan, Associate Director, Louvre said: “Whilst we are disappointed the parade can’t go ahead this year we are very much looking forward to it next May. Louvre is committed to supporting this initiative and we are looking forward to “Vive le Chèvre”, our goat being completed.”
