Louvre Trust Charitable Foundation support the "Buy a Brick" campaign

We are delighted to be supporting Phoenix Tumbling and Gymnastics in their “Buy a Brick” fundraising by purchasing one of the limited Premium Bricks on offer.

This is an initiative run by Phoenix in order to raise the funds required to improve the facilities at the club to enable the gymnasts to continue to develop and increase the number of classes that can be put on so that more talent can be produced to allow gymnasts to go further in the sport and generate gymnasts that can compete at national or even international level.

Phoenix offer sessions for children as young as 18 months all the way through to adults and offer a range of different recreational and tumbling sessions throughout the week.

Bobby Montague, Head Coach of Phoenix, commented that “The Guernsey Tumbling Centre would like to thank the Louvre Trust Charitable Foundation for pledging £1,500 as part of our ‘Buy a Brick’ fundraising initiative. The money sponsored will go directly towards the building work to create the Guernsey Tumbling Centre, a Centre, which will provide local children of all abilities access to a higher standard of gymnastics training and facilities for years to come.”

Louvre foundation councillor, Jon Bachelet, said “when we established the foundation we always wanted to find local initiatives that we could help with to really make a difference and when we saw what Phoenix are trying to achieve this was a must help situation. We are committed to looking at other ways that we can assist Phoenix in their development of local gymnastics as they genuinely believe in what they are doing and are passionate about making it work.”
