Derek has been the CEO of Louvre Group since founding it 25 years ago in Guernsey. Prior to founding the Group, Derek was CEO of the Viking Trust Group Limited, a subsidiary of the merchant bank Leopold Joseph based in London, and the former Managing Director of Midland Bank Trust Corporation (Guernsey) Limited.

He holds an MBA in Management from Henley Business School, and is also a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators, a member of the Chartered Securities Institute and a member of the Chartered Management Institute.

Derek has been central to Louvre Group’s development as a provider of bespoke fiduciary, family office and corporate services. He is a keen yachtsman and whilst enjoying a number of sports such as running, skiing and cycling, his wider interests include art history and travel.
